Who Can Benefit From CPR?
Since most incidents occur in the home, CPR administration can make the difference of life or death with any of these unfortunate events.
All of these can result in cardiac arrest:
A mischievous toddler choking on a small toy
Your friend’s severe allergic reaction from something they ate
Your teenager overdosing on prescription drugs (this includes suicide and drug abuse)
The excited child who jumps into the pool and drowns
Your newborn suffocating from disheveled bedding
Emergency situations often result in a delayed response. Think of the ways that you responded when there was an emergency. Did you react properly the moment it happened? Were you speechless?
Every second matters! When you're trained to perform CPR properly, when an emergency situation happens, you're more likely to respond
immediately.
Having confident knowledge of how to properly perform CPR can save lives.
